Constructed using assemblage and collage techniques, incorporating resurrected public domain images, embellished with items like stones, feathers and other natural finds, beads, etc.; hand dyed, distressed fabric; handmade paper and a variety of mixed media materials. This piece is hung via a rod pocket on its back.
Inspiration:
The privately owned image of "Poppy" joyously experiencing bubbles is so pure, I had to use it. Used by the permission of her parents, I present her as a reminder to us all to remember and embrace that wonderful spirit within us. Contemplate her joy, your joy and rediscover your Moksha! (Moksha is Sanskrit for Emotional Freedom.)
